Contemporary Art You Got to Love it

When I looked into modern art searching for improvements to decorating our house I got pleasantly surprised about the new world I discovered. Literally I had no idea what it actually was until I started browsing around looking for some modern art work. I have to tell you I got pretty excited with the results.
I’ve always considered modern art to be some sort of abstract painting, or anything similar that you just couldn’t figure out what the purpose was. Maybe it’s just me but I always felt that way. All the colours in the picture are simply too strongly related to the theory of the new age in my opinion.
Newer the less when it comes to today’s modern art the expression contemporary art is much more precise.
Contemporary art work doesn’t have to be some abstract painting or composition that only the artist self truly understand, leaving the rest of us scratching our heads. Personally I think there has to be some meaning and realism in a painting, being a simple person I don’t want my art works to be to complex or confusing.
The contemporary art genre is luckily rather huge, and you can find some wonderful paintings that are quiet easy to understand and interpret with your eyes. Many portraits and landscapes are incredibly fascinating in the area of contemporary art, so you can count me in as a new biggest fan of this fussy society.
The movement of contemporary art is now, together with some geometric designs in my furnishings, the foundation of my home decoration, and the best part is that I’m in addition able to recognize the representations of those designs.
What truly appeals to the antique collector in me is the fact that the movement of contemporary art started as early as the late 19th century. I have some rather old art pieces in my home, and it brings me great pleasure to combine those contemporary art pieces together with some very fascinating antiques from the 19th Century.
The fact that I’m still able to come across paintings in contemporary art that not just suits my personal taste but looks very decorative in my home too, gives me a tremendous pleasure. Both my mind and my eyes is now opened to contemporary art works, and I have found a brand new positive reaction on behalf of abstract paintings.
People have been expressing themselves through painting for thousands of years. Even the cavemen showed great hunts or other events with paints made from berries and plants. There just seems to be an innate need to show others our thoughts, feelings, and ideas through pictures. The phrase “ A picture is worth a thousand words” is so very true.
Many artists use the oil paints for extend projects. The oils do not dry as quickly and can be rejuvenated with a little turpentine or mineral spirits. This allows the artist to continue the project another day. The brushes you use with an oil painting must be cleaned extremely well. If you allow them to sit in the cleaning solution they can loose their shape. This means you may not be able to use certain brushes to achieve a particular brush stroke.
For everything appearing in this world there is someone who has painted it. Whether it is a person, place, or device somewhere someone has put it to paint. It does not be of importance what you pick out as your theme, as long as you feel comfortable painting it.
You may possibly decide on to paint portraits. Do not underestimate the theme. There is a label, “photogenic”, which means that someone’s beauty shows through the lens. You may perhaps spot someone having the status of plain and uninteresting. Under the eye of the camera, this person can transform into a image of beauty.
In no way overlook no matter which as soon as it comes to choosing a canvas painting idea One of the most captivating art subjects I ever observed was a dandelion which had gone to seed. The artist had shot a close up of the puffy seed head. He subsequently painted it in shades of blue. It took several persons almost three days to determine exactly what the subject was. Yet the painting fascinated all of us for quite some time.
In the world of today, we have some options to create different kinds of art like never before. Using a digital camera we can take perfect images of almost anything, and we can even record videos at the same time with that same camera, or a special video camera. We can then alter those recordings using advanced software programs or tools, such as setting colours, tone and contrast, artists even have options to directly draw on them, which give them an exceptional opportunity to create the most amazing pieces of art work.
There’s no more a need for creating realistic illustrations, as our digital cameras or webcams in most cases captures details more precisely than we are capable to create by hand.
Does art have to be beautiful? Well there are lots of people who claim that art should be beautiful, but what is the definition beauty. Most of us look at beauty from very different angles, new concepts, information and feelings can also be characterized as beauty. Likewise others see mysterious, shocking and even horrifying world art as being beautiful. Again it’s up to you to decide, and one can get lucky and find original art work at discount prices.
